Throughout 2017 the various museums in Ottawa will be celebrating Canadiana with themes ranging from: Vimy Ridge, Hockey in Canada – More than Just a Game or the Bytown Museum looking at a Century of Community.
The Light Rail will be moving in the capital in 2018 with over 38 kilometres of rail and over 23 stations. You will be able to get to various areas of Ottawa more quickly with this new light rail system.
Are you looking for a picnic for your family? Don’t miss on July 2 the Picnic on the Interprovincial Bridge that overlooks the Ottawa River and Parliament Hill. An Ottawa first is the Sky Lounge from July 2-22 where you will enjoy a fine dining experience suspended 150 feet in the air.
Interested in sporting events? We will be celebrating the 105th Grey Cup this year in Ottawa or check out the Ottawa Senators hockey team or the Ottawa Fury FC.
